Madison has been with the firm since its inception, first as Case Manager and now as an Associate. She is a graduate of the American University Washington College of Law, Class of 2021. Madison leads the Clerkship Program at dCZ, providing oversight and mentorship to incoming law clerks. She is passionate about helping law students and is grateful to have the opportunity to assist aspiring lawyers.

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Madison attended Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia and was a member of the Honors Program, Student Government, Alpha Phi Omega, and a plethora of other on-campus organizations. She graduated with Honors and received a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Sociology, with a Concentration in Legal Studies. Madison attended American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. where she was a Staffer for both The Criminal Law Practitioner and the Sustainable Development Law and Policy Brief. She was also a Student Attorney for the Disability Rights Law Clinic during her final year, affording her the opportunity to represent clients with disabilities who were in need of legal assistance. During her time as a Student Attorney, Madison also worked with multiple lobbying groups and other stake holders to draft legislation regarding school attendance for DCPS and DCPCS.
Madison is an experienced traveler who enjoys new adventures. She once spent a month in Palau, a country nestled in the Micronesian region, studying how societal factors affected nutrition and health. She assisted in presenting this research to local government officials and members of the U.S. Embassy in Palau. While an undergraduate student, Madison studied abroad for a year, spending six months in Belfast, Northern Ireland and six months in Vilnius, Lithuania. Madison was fortunate to study law for a semester at Vilnius University, which provided her an international perspective of law. Madison’s favorite thing to do when not at work is to try new D.C. restaurants.
